SC1’s three Innovation Hubs sit within some of London’s fastest growing and most vibrant commercial and cultural centres. Our Innovation Hubs are centres of excellence in mental health & neuroscience, cardiovascular & respiratory disease, cancer and blood disorders, and provide access to a rich heritage of academic and clinical leadership. The Hubs are underpinned by expertise in artificial intelligence and health technologies as well as an ecosystem that supports and accelerates development of innovative solutions from conception through to commercialisation.

SC1 MedTech Hub
As per the name, this Hub is notable for its leadership in healthcare engineering, with the London Institute for Healthcare Engineering, the Mary Seacole Centre, and a state of the art imaging centre and Surgical and Interventional Engineering Validation Suite. Cutting edge work is being carried out across areas as diverse as Children’s Health, Cardiovascular and Respiratory Disease – all at world-renowned speciality centres of excellence.
